In this study, it is aimed to examine the prospective classroom teachers’ perceptions on classrom management skills in terms of gender, grade level and type of education- variables. To this end, the sample of the study consisted of total 401 prospective classroom teachers enrolled in department of classroom teacher training in the faculty of education, Bayburt University and Ondokuz Mayıs University. In this research “Classroom Management Skills Scale”, developed by Ilgar(2007), was used as a means of data collection. Arithmetic average analysis of the data, as well as t test for independent groups were used. As a result of research on the levels of prospective classroom teachers’ perceptions has found good ( = 3.91). Moreover, when perceptions of prospective teachers on related with classroom management were not to be a significant relationship at .05 according to gender and type of education, they have been observed a significant different for grade level. The findings acquired through the study prove necessary modifications to improve the prospective teachers’ classroom management skills and in this way implications were made.
