Tolls used in teaching, such as provided by the teachers of teachers to conduct lessons effectively facilitates work of teachers. A good educational should be able to address whom students in general while processing using different materials and resources. This study aims to investigate the condition using of instructional tools and materials by social studies teachers. Survey method has been used in this study. The sampling group consists of 50 social studies teachers who work in Kırşehir in 2009-2010 scholastic year. In this study ; about teachers' half had stated prepare simple visual simple materials such as power point, charts, maps, working papers, photographs, sketches, diagrams why to use lessons. In social science lesson, has been used as an indispensable the maps and hard sphere model, be easy to find in schools. Some of the participants is used in lessons related to the subject CD while containing the presentation, film, painting and the projector, but very few teachers were using it.
