Abstract:

The study aims to identify the methods of recognition of the Physics 10 curriculum, the recognition conditions, the recognition degrees, the whole of the Physics program and the recognition of the 10th class Physics program, prepared in accordance with the 2007 Secondary Education Physics Program and proposed by the MEB, and the opinions on the book. The study group of the study used the screening model consists of 68 final class teachers candidates who studied in the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 academic years. The research’s quantitative and qualitative data collection tool is an survey consisting of 131 material curriculum evaluation scale and open-end questions with a Croanbach α reliability ratio of 0.92. With the visual analysis of the quantum data, Physics 10 was well assessed in terms of the overall and seven subdimensional, the content analysis of the quality data revealed the positive/negative opinions of the teacher candidates on Physics 10 and the difficulties in the implementation of Physics 10. It has been positive that Physics 10 is based on activity and student-centered, with its current life connections with scientific knowledge and the nature of science. The introduction of the modern physics unit at the initial level, the development of the Physics 10 book in particular in the direction of measurement assessment, the research on the nature of the physics curriculum and the curriculum, the teachers, teachers candidates and field educators' opinions, and the research results are recommended to be shared with the teachers.
