The differentiation of narrative structure is seen as one of the most important features of the modern novel. In this study, the elements such as time, narrator and focalization which form the basis of the novel fiction are discussed. In this context, the novel A Youth by Patrick Modiano who is the Nobel prize-winning representative of today's French novel is the corpus of our study. It is focused on heroes’ lives to reveal fictional structure of the novel which is in the forefront by using different perspectives. After mentioning briefly the current situations of the couple Louis and Odile, the novel concentrates on a period in the early years of their youths. In the novel, an adventurous period in which they started to know each other is narrated and the temporal and focal changes are seen frequently. The storytelling is created with the pieces of information provided by the narrator, constant coming and going is used between the past and the time of narration. The narrator creates a dynamic narrative by changing constantly his character of focus. The purpose of this study, with the dynamics in question, is to reveal the style of multiple point of view narration in the novel by using the classical method of narratology.
