So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Türk resminin gelişimindeki ilk evrelerde önemli yer tutan asker ressamlardan biri olan Mehmet Ali Laga , Türk tarihininhareketli dönemlerinden birinde yaşamış ve yaşamından izler, resimlerine de yansımıştır. Yaşamıyla ve resim üslubuyla döneminin diğer ressamlarından ayrılan Laga, Balkan ve Çanakkale savaşlarına katılmış, Bulgarlar’ın eline esir düşmüş, ama resimden vazgeçmemiş, askeri okullarda resim öğretmenliği yaparak resim sergilerine katılmış bir ressamımızdır. Bunlara rağmen Mehmet Ali Laga’ya gereken önem verilmemiştir ve Türk resim sanatını konu alan kaynaklarda aktarılan bilgiler de birbirinin aynı nitelikte olup belli hatalar içermektedir. Hayatına ve faaliyetlerine dair bu hataların bazıları, burada düzeltilirken bazıları da yeniden tartışmaya açılmaktadır
