Abstract:

The archaeological excavations and research in recent years, provides to increase of our knowledge on residential architecture and give us very valuable information to understand the development of housing tradition in Anatolia. Besides by the excavations and research, the houses is exposed in the ancient cities which they used by people living together in the cities and otherwise, after the surveys in rural areas different houses is determined which they used by people living in rural. In fact, this short paper aims to focus on Late Antique residential buildings of Troas, which they have been identified until day. By the way Late Antique residential architecture is exploring in the light of the existing ruins and evaluated published reports. Thus, Late Antique houses in the Troas region at various times and in different places have revealed in a combination and tried to be explaining as a whole.
