Abstract:

Malatya has become an important cultural center in history, city has shaped itself as the place of residence and destination of many scholars well-known and opinion makers who have stigmatized Islamic thought. An one of them as a historian Zeynüddin Abdülbasıt b. was born in Malatya in the year when his father was governer in Malatya during the Mamluks period. He was known as Hanafi faqih and commentator. After his trip Aleppo, Damascus, Maghribi and Andalus for study he settled in Cairo and died here in (920/1514).  He learned from great scholars of his time and he wrote important works. In this work we will study about his work booklet named as “al- Zehru’l- Maktûf fî Mehârici al- Hurof ”.  About this subject a lot of scholars worked and they made important literatüre. We will try to evaluate his views on the "place of departure of the letters of the abominable hurûf / Qur'an" using his booklet, which is a fundamental part of the tajweed course and we will try to introduce him.
