The modern world has taken economy in its center in order to ensure its own future and has locked all of its systems to a single target under the paradigm of ‘linear progress’ based on the principle of ‘continuous improvement’. Under these circumstances, the duty that falls on the society is to educate individuals, who would ensure the continuity of the system. However, a person, who finds himself in such a system, moves away from identificating with his own existence as time passes. While this approach takes a person away from the center, it also requires a person to turn back to his essence and to review his own existential structure and charactheristics. Since the childhood period shapes the personalities of individuals, this period is important in the establishment of the foundations that would become the essence of the future of society. It is necessary to truly recognize human beings and grasp their existential structure and charactheristics to improve their skills and to correctly route their tendencies. Therefore, within the scope of this study to approach human with a holistic perspective, the concept of child is handled in the field of philosophical anthropology.
