The environmental problems threat not only human beings, but also every being of ecosystem. What qualifies these problems is not that they are local and regional, but global one. Environmental problems of a country are not a threat only for that country or for its neighboring countries, but entire ecological systems. We need to struggle against these threat; but the intuitions struggling agains those problems misses the metaphysical point of them and fail to succeed in finding a resolution of them. One must have new mentality and attitude towards the environmental problems. The individual first needs to understand the world of beings as a whole and then himself within it. The perspective of this understanding must be universal. One does not grasp the world of beings properly without a holistic perspective. The curiosity for understanding and knowing the world of beings exists potentially in the disposition of human being. One need to actualize it. At this point, the individual discovers fact of morality in departing from the philosophy of being. The one who recognizes the world of being and his own position within it questions his relation to whole being wether living or nonliving one., and begins to think about its quiddity. Major mistake committed by today’s people is that he means by morality only the relationships among humans and by environment only plants and animals. This is a partial approach rather than holistic. We dealt the environmental problems through the concept of fitrah in Islamic thought and try to discover moral and faith principles underlying themprocess.
