Abd al-Qahir al-Jurjani (d.471/1078) was born in Gorgan. He is nephew and student of Abu Ali al-Farisi. He is Arabic linguist and literature theorist. He is known as “Imamu’nNuhat/Master of Linguists”. He wrote two famous books that are named as Dala'il alI'jaz and Asrar al-Balaghah. Further, he became famous with “Theory of Deconstruction”. In some source, it is mentioned that he wrote an interpretation of Quran named as Durju’d-Durer. This study examines interpretation named as Durju’d-Durer that is claimed written by al-Jurjani and Dala'il al-I'jaz within the scope of common verses’ commentaries in two books. Our aim in doing the study is looking in a different perspective at doubt of relation between interpretation and writer
