In Islamic history, four sunni law schools are called with the names of their leaders. In this respect, the question “why are these persons accepted as imam-leader by Islamic society” is arised. In this article, we analysis the answering to that question. We show that gaining trust is the very crucial factor about the building the authority in a society. For this reason we try to determine the elements that let imams for gaining trust of the Islamic society and we show how these factors that establish the relation of trust to authority.
