Bir örgütün amaçlarına ulaşarak rekabet üstünlüğü sağlayabilmesinde insan kaynağının olumlu tutum ve davranışlara sahip olması kritik önemdedir. Örgütün en önemli kaynağı olan insanın göstereceği olumsuz tutum ve davranışların örgütteki yansımaları ise örgütsel davranışın karanlık yüzü olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Örgüt üyesi veya üyelerinin kasıtlı bir şekilde başkalarına, kendisine veya örgüte zarar vermek amacıyla yaptığı her türlü edim olarak tanımlanan örgütsel davranışın karanlık yüzü; doğurduğu olumsuz sonuçlar ve etkiler açısından önemli bir olgudur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, örgütler için önemli bir sorun kaynağı olan bu tür davranışların nedenleri, sonuçları ve alınacak önlemlerle ilgili uygulama birimlerine ayrıntılı bilgiler sağlamak ve Türkiye’de yapılan çalışmaların dağılımını ve yönünü belirleyerek bundan sonraki yapılacak çalışmalara ışık tutmaktır. Bu amaçla nicel veri toplama tekniği olan ikincil veri analizi yöntemi kullanılarak, ULAKBİM Türkiye Akademik Arşivi veri tabanında 2010-2017 yılları arasında yayınlanan çevrimiçi dergilerdeki “Örgütsel Davranışın Karanlık Yüzü” başlığı altında yer alan 273 makaleye ulaşılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, bu makalelerden 79 (%28,94)’unun mobbing, 65 (%23,81)’inin sinik davranışlar ve 43 (%15,75)’ünün örgütsel sessizlikle ilgili olduğu ve bu makalelerin örgütsel davranışın karanlık yüzüyle ilgili yapılan çalışmaların büyük bölümünü oluşturduğu (%68,5) tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda, örgütsel davranışın karanlık tarafıyla ilgili daha az çalışma yapılan konularda araştırmalar yapılmasının, uygulama birimlerine değerli bilgiler sunarak bu sorunun çözümünde önemli katkılar sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
Having positive attitudes and behaviors of human resources is critical in order to an organization can provide competitive advantage by achieving its goals. Reflections of the negative attitudes and behaviors of the human who is the most important source of organization, are named as the dark side of the organizational behavior. The dark side of organizational behavior which is defined as any action that an organization member or a group of members intentionally do to harm others, is an important phenomenon in terms of the negative consequences and influences. The aim of this study is to provide detailed information to the implementation units about the causes, consequences and measures to be taken for such behaviors that are a major source of problems for organizations, and to shed light on the studies to be done then by determining the distribution and direction of the studies done in Turkey. For this purpose, secondary data analysis method (a quantitative data collection technique) has been used and 273 articles were found under the headline "The Dark Side of Organizational Behavior" in online magazines published between 2010-2017 in the ULAKBIM Turkish Academic Archive database. As a result of these analyzes, it was observed that 79 (28.94%) of these articles were related to harassment, 65 (23.81%) were related to cynical behaviors and 43 (15.75%) were related to organizational silence and these articles constitute a large part of the studies (68,5%) on the dark side of organizational behavior. As a result of this study, research on less studied subjects on the dark side of organizational behavior will contribute to the solution of this problem by providing valuable information to the application units.
