Abstract:

arIn this study we tried to explain the relationship between the informal economy with growth between 1970-2015 period in Turkey. For this purpose, the value of the informal economy is first measured by the monetary rate method. The effect of the informal economy on the growth of the society is explained in terms of the opinions obtained about the informal economy. As a result of the consultations and surveys we conducted with the households in the direction of the work we do, it is seen that 5 out of 8 people are going out of record. As a result, the informal economy has to be out of the country and circulated in the country, in order to make a positive impact on growth. For this reason, due to the strength of Turkey's legislation removing money out of the country is estimated to have a positive impact on growth.
