Özet:

Working children is the problem of all societies but especially in underdeveloped countries and developing countries is one of the priority social issues. Children have to enter / enter their working life at an early age brings with it many problems such as long working hours, low wages, lack of education, exposure to violence, exposure to harmful habits etc. In this study it was analyzed the working children’s problems that are working in many different places. The other purpose of the study is to offer solutions for the determined problems. The study covers 157 children who are working in different areas like peddlers, scrap - waste gatherer and apprentice in Istanbul province. In this study, consisting of 38 questions were used forms of expression. In the study, 175 working children were omitted and analysis were performed on 157 data. The obtained data were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 package program. According to the results of the study most of the children started to work because of economic reasons. Child workers problems are; not / could not continue school, long working hours, low earnings, using drugs and to be exposed to violence. Evaluating all the problems as a whole and creating policies intended for these problems has great importance for children and the future of the society.
