Bu araştırmanın amacı, Muğla il merkezinde okul öncesi eğitim kurumuna devam eden 5–6 yaş çocuklarının akademik benlik saygısı düzeyi ve bunun çeşitli değişkenler ile ilişkisini saptamaktır. Betimsel nitelikteki bu araştırmada bağımsız anaokuluna devam eden toplam 400 çocuğa ait veriler öğretmen algılarına dayalı olarak “Akademik Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği” ve araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulan kişisel bilgi formu aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Çocukların yaşı ve ailedeki çocuk sayısı ile ilişkisi anlamsız bulunmuştur. Ayrıca kız çocuklarının akademik benlik saygısı düzeyinin erkek çocuklarınkine göre daha yüksek olduğu, anne-babanın eğitim durumları ile akademik benlik saygısı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır.
the aim of this research is to identify the academic self-esteem level of 5–6 years old children who continue to the preschool educational institution in the muğla province center, and the relationship with various variables is to detect the relationship with the total data of 400 children who continue to the independent kindergarten in this research based on the teaching perceptions of the teacher “smic self-esteem scale” and the personal information form created by researchers, the relationship with the age of children and the number of children in the family has been understood, as well as the student’s academic self-esteem level of their children’s academic self-esteemism is a meaningful relationship with the academic situation of the higher than male children
