Gerçekliği özümsemenin bilimi olarak tanımlanan estetik sadece güzel ile ilgili değildir. Estetik fenomenin ontolojisinin de inceleneceği bu çalışmada güzelin dışında başka kategorilerin ve özellikle de çirkinin nasıl mümkün olduğu üzerinde durulmaktadır. Çirkin veya çirkinlik denilen yargının gerek sinemada gerekse diğer görsel sanat dallarında bakış açılarının bir ürünü olduğu çalışmada ele alınmakta ve bu bakış açılarından “Dekadan” bakış açısına yoğunlaşılmaktadır. Dekadan bakış açısı Nietzsche felsefesi etkisinde gelişen bir konumlanma noktasını anlatmaktadır. Bu çalışmada dekadantların çirkin ile ilişkileri ele alınmaktadır.
Aesthetics, defined as the science of the absorption of reality, is not just about beauty. The ontology of the aesthetic phenomenon will also be studied in this study focuses on other categories other than the beauty and especially how it is possible for the ugly. The judgment called ugly or ugly is discussed in the study that it is a product of the views of the other fields of visual art, and from this point of view it is focused on the "Dekadan" point of view. A decade point of view describes a positioning point developing under the influence of Nietzsche philosophy. In this study we discuss the relationship of decadents with the ugly.
