This study was carried as descriptively to determine the attitudes of nursing professional organizing. Research population was consisted of 3. and 4. year Ondokuz Mayıs University nursing students who studied “Nursing Management” course.. students attending school in November 2014 and May 2015and who agreed to participate in volunteer work, have been sampled. Without going to the sampling in the study. Attending school and who agreed to participate in volunteer work, students have been sampled. 137 forms are valid in the study. Data of the study was gained by the form with 19 questions about the demographic data and Professional organizating. Data was analyzed by SPSS 21 statistical package program using average, percentages and chi-square calculations It was found that 59.9% of the participants was fourth year students. 14% of students worked as a nurse, 56.9% of the students had knowlege about the associations, 78 % of paticipants wanted to learn about associations, 59.9% had no knowlege about the mission of the associations’. As a result proffessional organizing is required and believed by participant students and they are stated that proffessional organization activity was not enough.
