Branding, product, services and ideas were used for the very first time in 1970 for cities. Tourism was the first city brand and the goal was for the city management to get more funding compared to the other cities. To enable the city management to be branded, they have to have unique structures or features that make them different from other cities. To create awareness and make it not substitutable are the most important cultural assests. World heritage site list and the World heritage temporary list enables international marketing by UNESCO and is really important in city marketing. Research done in Lycian civilization Antique cities which is found in the UNESCO World heritage temporary list. The results got from both local and international tourists according to a survey Show that Tlos antique citys have affective and cognitive elements of Mugla brand city. According to research findings, cognitive and emotional elements of the brand image of the city, the difference in the sizes of the effects observed.
