Abstract:

The concept of Occupational Health and Safety includes work to be done that foreseeing risk evaluation and the elimination of these risks or to minimize the losses, before taking measures for emerging threats in the working life. With each case included in the definition of an accident at work concerns Occupational Health and Safety In this study, the importance at the formation of an accident of dangerous movements and dangerous situations emphasized and examined Occupational Health and Safety principles with regard to prediction of accidents and theories of the accident, the chain of accident theory, the definition of occupational accident. Accordingly, 584 accidents and in cases of near misses were carried out that these occurred between the years of 1998-2011 in Aegean Lignite Institution Public Enterprises and dangerous situations dangerous movements and determined that these cause an accident and were made suggestions. Identified these dangerous movements can previously recognized by in-service courses and job training with detailed information to employee. If the same or similar errors of accidents will not be intended.
