The results of the project for the production of asphaltite from underground mining methods for Uckardesler Asphaltite Vein located in the city of Sirnak and Silopi region are shared in this study. Solid model of the asphaltite as well as reserve calculations are given before giving the results of experimental studies carried out to obtain technological properties of asphaltite. The results promoted the idea of being an important energy raw material of asphaltite. After that Sublevel cut and fill stoping mining method for underground mining was selected considering vein geometry. Underground infrastructures were designed for development and exploitation structures. Options for the excavation of asphaltite were presented, and the outputs of underground mine ventilation project were then given as well. Gas content and spontaneous combustion were determined from in-situ studies to set up a structure for ventilation calculations. Main principles for underground openings support designs, haulage, and filling were then given. This is the preliminary study for the production of asphaltite from underground mining methods
