In this study, cultural heritages from Nif Mountain excavations, particularly from Karmattepe branch are presented dealing with the stages of ancient iron works from mining to making objects. Nif Mountain research and excavations in İzmir city, which are supervised by Prof. Dr. Elif Tül Tulunay from the Istanbul University are within the borders of Buca, Bornova, Torbalı and Kemalpasa districts. The excavations that have started 7 years before are being continued at southeast side of the area, nowadays. About 2000 metal findings were obtained from Karamattepe, Ballıcaoluk, Başpınar and Dağkızılca excavation sites. The biggest part of the metal findings is iron products from the Karamattepe excavation site. The metal processing area found within the Nif Mountain researchs and excavations was related with the ancient ironworking, and the political situations effect on the works at Karamattepe was discussed. The origin of some cultural diversities was suggested using the history, typology and analogy
