Established at the end of the 13th century, the Ottoman Empire’s most powerful period was the 15th and the 16th centuries. However, this situation has been ended in the light of the economic and social development of western countries. The Ottoman Empire tried to adapt itself to this new system. The Tulip period became the time when the renovation of the Empire’s system by modeling the western countries was clearly apparent. Therefore, there have been many changes in the Ottoman Empire’s social and cultural life in this period. The aim of this work is to have students gain true information about the social life and cultural changes in the tulip period by using modern teaching methods, which provides more beneficial, enthusiastic and efficient learning environment to the students.
