Abstract:

 ÖZ: Fen Bilimleri dersi yaşantıya dayalı olan Proje Tabanlı Öğrenme Modelinin başarılı bir şekilde uygulanabileği derslerden birisidir. Fen ve Teknoloji dersinde öğrencilerden derste edindikleri bilgilerle doğayı anlamaları, bilimsel çalışma basamaklarını ve sürecini öğrenerek günlük yaşamda karşılaştığı problemleri çözme becerisini kazanmaları beklenmektedir. Bu çalışmada, öğrenciler danışman öğretmenleri eşliğinde bir proje hazırlayarak bilimsel çalışma basamaklarını uygulamalı olarak takip etti. MEB ve TUBITAK ortaklığında yürütülen “Bu Benim Eserim Matematik ve Fen Proje Çalışmasına” katıldılar. Proje konusu olarak öğrenciler ekmeğin küflenmesini problem olarak belirlediler. Uygulama süresinde öğrencilerin, küflenmeyi nasıl geciktirebiliriz sorusunun cevabını aramaları, araştırma ve gözlem yaparak hipotezler kurmaları, deneyler ve gözlemler yaparak bilimsel süreç becerilerini uygulamaları, ulaştıkları sonuçlar, analizleri ve çözüm önerileri, çalışma formatı gereğince bir kaç aşamadan geçmeleri açıklanmaktadır. Sonrasında Eskişehir Bölge Sergisine katılmaya hak kazanıp burada projelerini sundular. Öğrenciler bu süreçlerin sonunda ürünlerini ortaya koyup, sunumlarla da fen eğitiminin sınıf dışındaki farklı bir boyutuyla eğlenceli fen öğrenme şansını yakaladılar, sunum becerilerini geliştirdiler.  Anahtar Kelimeler: Proje Tabanlı Öğrenme, Ekmek Küfü, Ekmeğin Sağlıklı Saklanması, Fen Eğitimi Teaching Application: Mold will not grow in our bread  ABSTRACT:  Science courses are one of the courses that project based education could be applied succesfully. Students are expected to impliment their knowledge that they had during the science and technology courses to understand the nature and be able to practice scientific process skills on the daily based problems.. In this study, students followed the steps of scientific process skills under the supervison of their mentor teacher. The participated in “ “This is my product:Mathematic and Science Project Work”, joint project of National Education Ministry ( MEB) and TUBITAK. Students decided their project thema as bread mold. During the project, students searched the answer for the question “How we can delay the mold reproduction on the bread?”, form their hypothesis, make their observations, experiments, , analyze the outcomes, find the solution and the stages that they should cover in the frame of their study were explained in this paper. Afterwards students were evaluated to participate in Eskisehir regional exhibition and presented their project. At the end of this process, students introduce their product, with their presentation they enjoyed a different aspect of science education outside the classroom environment, and develop their presentation skills.  Key Words: Project Based Education, Bread Mold, Heathy preservation of bread, Science Education
