ÖZET Öğretim elemanının eğitimin derslerle sınırlı olmadığını, öncelikle öğrencilerin de bir birey olduklarını kabul etmesi durumunda kendisini birey olarak hisseden, aktif dinleyen ve sorgulayan kişiliğe sahip bir öğrenci, fikirlerini dinleyen, kontrollü cevaplar veren istikrarlı bir öğretim elemanı karşısında başarılı, sosyal ve hayata doğru hazırlanmış olacaktır. Bir iletişim mesleği olan öğretmenlikte, öğretim elemanının iyi bir iletişim becerisine sahip olması, öğrencinin değerleriyle ve gelecek planlarıyla ilgili konularda veya karşılaştıkları problemlerde onlara yardımcı olması, öğrenenlerden kaynaklanan bireysel farklılıkları dikkate alması büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışma, Sakarya Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesi ve Teknoloji Fakültesinde 148 lisan öğrencisinin ve 127 öğretim elemanının “Öğrenci Odaklı Eğitim” konusundaki algılarının değerlendirilmesi amacı ile anket uygulanarak gerçekleştirilmiş, tanımlayıcı nitelikte bir araştırmadır. Çalışmada, öğrencilerin fakülteleri ile öğretim elemanlarının fakülte ve mesleki tecrübeleri, öğretim elemanlarının cinsiyeti dikkate alınarak analizler gerçekleştirilecektir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS (22,0 sürüm) istatistik programı ile Ki Kare, Regresyon ve Korelasyon testleri kullanılarak analiz edilecektir.
