So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Education is an indivsible of part of life which devolops people and societies. Whitout the education, life can not be thinking. When one examines our history, it can be seen that Education have been supported by the foundations that were open by Otoman and Turkish rulers. Music had been always used as one of the department of education system in some ceramonies like weddings, funerals, and religious rituals by Turkish tribes and states. Turkish rulers had supported musicans and patronized them. Music education was carried on by some foundations in Ottoman Empire. The most important of them were Enderun-i Hümâyûn, Mehterhâne-i Hümâyûn and, Musika-i Hümâyûn. Apart from these govermental foundations some non- govermental foundations had provided music education for people in the Ottoman state. These were, Meskhane (private music education centers), and private music schools. The main musical education system was “meskh” education system in Ottoman empire. This system was based on the musical relationship between pupils and tutors. Basically this sytem based on principal of ¨the pupil imitates tutor¨. The pupils memorise every rythmic and melodic aspects of musical pieces and immitates the way of his or her tutors do. This system that made possible to tranfer of the instrumental and vocal pieces along the generations, had been used by the first quarter of 19th century. The aim of this study is examining to Otoman musical education systems that were carried on in palaces and the other foundations that were placed out of palaces, like the public schools and music societies. Otoman Empire has a special education that was based on life-long education principle. Adtionally, we carried out evaluation about fundamental aspects of these foundations and their importance for Ottoman music history in conclusion chapter of this work.
