ABSTRACT Work place spirituality, which we can define as the efforts to find the basic aims of the life of the person, to establish a strong connection with the business-related people and to harmonize their beliefs with the values of the workplace; aims to create a common conscience for a place of business that will provide people with respectful, trustworthy and sincere relationships with people in their working life (Neal, 2000; Cited in. Örgev and Günalan, 2011 :55). Perceived organizational support means that employees feel secure and know that there is an organization behind them (Özdevecioğlu, 2003:113). Employees who perceive that they are supported by their organization have the possibility to respond in terms of workplace spirit, feeling gratitude (Kaplan and Öğüt, 2012:389). This research aims to investigate the effect of organizational support on perceived workplace spirituality. In the survey, employees’ perceptions of organizational support and workplace spirituality in the private sector in the city of Kahramanmaras were tried to be measured through questionnaires. In the analysis of the obtained data, reliability test, correlation and regression analyzes were applied. As a result, it was concluded that organizational support have a positive effect on workplace spirituality.
