This study is going to discuss two different approaches to education in a certain parable in Golestan of Saadi Shirazi, who was an educator himself, and its manifestations in Turkish and Persian literatures. The aim of this paper is not to prove a certain educational perspective right or wrong, but to point out some manifestations of the subject in classical literature. Within this frame, a comparative reading will be carried out from the perspective of the aforementioned parable in Golestan through examples from Classical Turkish and Persian literatures.
