Abstract Black Sea geography, which divided by river valleys, represents an united economic and social structure from her coasts to highlands. Plateau is the half-time living space of nomadic Turks and this speciality brings them in front of historical interest. Plateaus suffered some changes and transformations during XIXth Century after being part of Ottoman order for several centuries. Changes at Ottoman Imperium like opening of Black Sea to international trade, urbanization of coastal areas, internal and external migration and uprising of the domestic dynasties widened the debates on plataeus which at the time had become an obscure private property area.
