In this study was investigated grain yield and yield components of some promising winter chickpea genotypes. This study was carried out at Çukurova university, Agricultural Faculty, Field Crop Department at lowland and up land conditions during 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 growing season. The experiment was laid out randomized block with four replications with four promising lines and two registered chickpea cultivars as a control. According to average values, plant height, first podding height, number of branches per plant, number of pods per plant, number of grains per plant, 100-grain weight, and grain yield varied from 51.5 to 55.6 cm, from 25.3 to 30.1 cm, from 8.7 to 11.6 number plant-1, from 32.0 to 46.5 number plant-1, from 38.3 to 51.9 number plant-1, from 12.7 to 17.7 g, from 32.0 to 33.7 g, from 130.1 to 179.9 kg da-1 respectively.
