The purpose of this study was to determine to which extent the turkey meat, which is an important alternative to the closure of the deficits in the production and consumption of meat and meat products, has been affected by factors such as the economic crisis, avian influenza pandemic over the past 15 years, and to identify the seasonal fluctuations that have occurred between turkey meat production and its real prices, in Turkey. Yet, a seasonal analysis in the production planning has been an important tool for the sector. In Turkey, 23,265 tons of turkey meat production in 2000 increased by 100% in 2016 and reached to 46.502 tonnes. In this study, the average annual growth rate of the turkey industry in Turkey between 2000-2016 years was determined to be 7.8%. Also it is shown in an unsteady years as turkey meat production quantity and price in Turkey and the production of turkey meat increased significantly in July and December, while the prices decreased. In the light of the data obtained, it can be stated that many factors such as input costs, consumers' purchasing power and consumer preferences, economic conjuncture, volume of foreign trade are effective in the determination of turkey meat production amounts as well as the price and the season.
