Abstract:

The main task of the architects is to create space. The space created by the architect influences the users and the environment, so communication is created between the user and the space. The movement of the user in the room warns the body and the body stimulates the sense of space in the mind. The space is perceived by the human movement, the form and boundaries of the space are determined by human movements, senses and perception. The architect designs and manufactures in physical space in his / her own experience. Space concept experienced by the architect with the conceptual value and the space sensation experienced is not the same. In the design process, architects need a scientific and research-based method to test design ideas and understand the possible effects of the suggestions they make. In this point, the method of spatial arrangement is a means of creating the space fiction with numerical calculations in architectural design. Basically, the relations of the parts of the space with each other; the method of space syntax analyzing the potentials of gathering people by analyzing the movement and field of view of people is used as a method of understanding and editing the place for students in architectural design education in recent years. The aim of the study is to examine the workshop studies using the method of spatial arrangement in architectural education; • questioning the place, • create a spatial relationship network • to be able to design the space holistically, • to explore how and in what capacity the capacity to develop spatial editing skills develops. It is aimed to form the architectural design education in the context of space syntax method in the direction of the data obtained in the study.
