Abstract:

Employers are obliged to register for work accidents and occupational diseases and work to prevent accidents and diseases that occur in the workplace with reasons and to inform SSI within three working days. In the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, administrative penalties are enforced for those who do not fulfill the said obligations. The amount of administrative penalties to be applied with the amendment made in 2015 is differentiated according to the number of insured employees and the danger class of the workplace. In the Occupational Health and Safety Law, it is foreseen that both the employers and the health service providers are informed about the business accidents, and the reporting times for both parties are different. In this context, we will be informed about the period and type of notification of work accidents and occupational diseases in our writing, and about the administrative fines to be applied if the Agency is not notified within the legal period.
