Abstract:

Recently, digital art has emerged in the interdisciplinary environment where various expertises and disciplines meet and intersect thanks to the fast developing technology. The movements such as Dadaism, Surrealism, Fluxus, Happening, Video Art, and conceptual arts have been nourishing the digital art. The concepts, materials, and observer-participating experiences are in the focus of digital art. This multi-movement involving art constitutes novel statement forms, aspects, and expression types. In digital artworks, art, technology, and design intersect and constitute a synergy. The digital art element in the space and the physical existence of the observer are associated. Space can also be the material of the artwork. The use of space increases the depth of the interaction formed on the observer using the distinction between the physical body and the art. The respace of the observer would require a re-regulation of the time component, while a movement within the time would re-regulate the subject in the space. An interactive digital artwork enables the subject to have an interactive experience with installation using the time and space.
