Competitive power is very important for organizations to survive. And the competitive power of an organization is strongly related to its human resource capacity of innovation. The real success in the innovative studies is based on the attitudes and behaviors of the employees. One of the obstacles in front of innovation and development is organizational silence. Organizational silence which can be described as not sharing the ideas and information regarding the organization intentionally, inhibit the efforts to resolve problems. The main studies on organizational silence show that the antecedents of the phenomena are categorized as the personal, organizational, managerial and cultural factors. The main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the trust in supervisor which is a dimension of organizational trust on organizational silence. The sample of the study is the employees working in accommodation companies in Alanya. A quantitative approach was adapted and the data was collected via fully structured surveys. Confirmatory factor analysis was performed in order to ensure the validity of the research model. Afterwards, correlation analysis was performed to measure the interrelation between the variables. Lastly, structural equation model was used to measure the causality between the variables.
