Özet:

İn this study six novels of Kemal Tahir Which are named as Esir Şehrin İnsanları, Esir Şehrin Mahpusu, Yol Ayrımı, Yorgun Savaşçı, Kurt Kanunu and Hür Şehrin İnsanları is being evaluated on by the notion of fear which is consistently being dealed with in. When these novels are read it is seen that at introducing characters and society, at the stage of characterization the basic feeling is always fear. Fear, determines all the personal and social life. İn these novels people always exist wtih their fear. By the war which is being made with own fears one can be a hero or a slave. Kemal Tahir produce three types of novel characters by their positions to fear. First of all are fearless people, second are losers to fear. The other are the people WHO don't lost by their own fears, are indomitable and go over their fears are the basic charaters of novels. Physycologically differently of fear to anxiety, fear is absolutely being developed to an object or about an event. İn the novels of Kemal Tahir which are aforementioned very interestingly the object of fear is almostly human. İn the World of Kemal Tahir's fiction fear is dealed with two aspects: With the positive aspect fear is a dominant element of building of person ownself and the negative aspect fear as a feeling because of which human is dependent on human and human is being slaved by. About the notion of fear which is especially emphasized by the novelist in these novels and his other novels isn't being work on privately at any other work which we can determine. Tha aim of this work is to close this lack and determine the phsycologicalyand sociologically effects of fear at person and society as in the novels.
