So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Nowadays, medicine has become an indispensable part of health care services. The medicine cannot be used haphazardly. Just as all over the world, wrong and unnecessary use of medicine affects public health and causes problems in various dimensions in our country as well. These effects include increase in the rates of disease and mortality and increased side effects of drugs. The need for the culture of rational use of medicine to be acquired by all the members of society made its appearance on the social media essential. Social media has become one of the most commonly used tools in the health field since it enables very rapid information sharing, it is easily accessible and it has easy, rapid and economic access to large masses of people. Therefore, the pharmaceutical companies which are aware of the power of social media want to exhibit their presence in the social media by organizing different campaigns in order to influence their customers about the rational use of medicine. This study attempted to determine the studies conducted for establishing awareness about creating the culture of rational use of medicine and increasing public awareness.
