Though the amount of harmonic values generated from single phase power electronic loads is small, the number of these loads is large and they are used at the same time so the harmonics generated from these loads reach significant values. Therefore it’s important to calculate the expressions of input line currents and load voltage values of the filtered full bridge rectifier. The most effective way to achieve these values is to use software programs such as MATLAB, EMTP and ATP. In this study, the line current and voltage waveforms are determined for sinusoidal and nonsinusoidal conditions via differential equations and considering the effect of line impedance. By means of this, compared to simulations, for any values of circuit parameters, accurate and rapid results are obtained for line current and voltage waveforms, and the effects of the values of output filter on line current harmonics, power factor and other harmonic quantities are analyzed.
