Abstract:

The city of Baghdad has been the heart of the Middle East and of Iraq since the day it was established. While the defense of the city is on the frontline, art and aesthetics have never been compromised during the construction of Baghdad. It is seen that the perspective which is a theory of Arab origin is used on aesthetic structure in the city of Baghdad. The city of Baghdad, which was subject to a thousand nights during the Caliph Aaron Rashid period, lived the golden age at this time and was adorned with the most beautiful aesthetics. Accordingly, in order to make the city of Baghdad beautiful, it is desired to simulate the structure and beauty of Baghdad with the introduction of many tools from China from India. Baghdad in the period was one of the largest cities in the world, with a distinctive feature due to its close proximity to the population of 1.5-2 million. Even within this population, music, calligraphy, miniature art have reached the summit point. While the beauties of the round city of Baghdad are poetry, legends are the subject, travelers from all nations and researchers have fallen in search of plan, the aesthetic gates of the city, the streets and the architectural structure. In addition to these, when we think that the richness of Baghdad and the check sent from Baghdad are valid in every country, we can see that Baghdad is one more preliminary as aesthetics and wealth from world cities. Baghdad, one of the most planned and most aesthetic cities of the Islamic world, has always been on the forefront among its contemporaries. In this research, the plan of the city of Baghdad was aimed to determine the artistic and aesthetic conception used in the architectural structures, the gates and streets of the city.
