Abstract:

The sects, which can be expressed as the ways of interpreting religion, have developed different political and theological concessions according to their approach. However, the differences among the sects are not limited to the political and theological views. It is possible to see the projection of the differences among the sects in various fields, art and literature being in the first place. It is possible to claim that some of the differences between Shia and Sunni mosques depend on the political and theological differences. Besides, the theological views have been determinant in the reflection of Ahl al-Bayt thought on poetry and literature. In this study, we will try to shed light on the reflection of the sectarian concessions on art, poetry and literature, especially the pieces of art established during the periods of the governments adopting the Shia and Sunni sects.
