FDY, FDM tarafından sağlanan maliyet bilgisini kullanarak süreçlerin iyileştirilmesini ve karlılığın arttırılmasını sağlar. Bunun sonucunda da işletmeler rekabette önemli bir üstünlüğe sahip olmaktadır.
