Football which had been just an sportive event up to the mid of 80’s has created its economic value since the beginning of 90’s. The European football market continued to show resistance to wider economic pressures, growing to €19,4 billion in 2011/12 Due to the quick spread of the concrete effects of added value which came out because of the football, the financial and managerial analysis of football clubs having great amount of budget took center stage. In this study, the financial analysis of football clubs which are prominent in the football sector in Europe and accessible to the public as well has been done according to the traditional performance criteria. The main and common financial problems of the football clubs were ascertained and solution proposals were put forward.
