The Crow Motif According to Classical Arabic Literary Sources In the classical Arabic culture, the special attention has been given to the crow motif because of its strange sound and some features of its external appearance or some meanings which attributed to it. Within the framework of Arabic history and literature, this article intends to handle this bird which is generally subjected to art and mythology and which is seen as an inauspiciousness, and as well as to introduce the verse and prose humorous works which are formed around this theme.
