So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

When we look at humorous types in Turkish literature its possible see thousands of joke, satire, wit, hoax, jest; however academic studies regarding why people laugh at them are inversely correlated. The studies and arguments on the description and function of the humour are quite new. Although it is new, the studies on humour in western thought and literature are older and more serious than the ones in Turkish literature. It is possible to see this distinction through a simple literature review. Since Platon, some philosophers have thrown an idea into the pot on this issue and more than a hundred theories of humour have been presented. In this study, sources and functions of humour of jokes in Çerçeves by Necip Fazıl Kısakürek have been presented. Necip Fazıl gave importance to laughing and as a word virtuoso he never vulgarised his style throughout the jokes in Çerçeves regardless of they are humorous or related to other parts of life. To do so, he took advantage of the functions of humour. In his approach, it is clear that he took humour seriously. It would be pertinent that the ones who would write the history of humour in Turkish literature give due attention to Necip Fazıl and his Çerçeves.
