So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Dergisi
Author:
Abstract:

2016
Author:
Abstract:

As a literary genre fantasticism both in the east and the west has been nourished by several folk narratives rooted in mythology and other elements of folk culture. So folklore and folk literature which is its broader branch are rich sources of fantastic literature. In this study, the most used elements of folk culture in the novels of Sadık Yemni, who has tried different genres like novel, story, essay and theatre, were detected. Among them Muska, Yatır, Ağrıyan and Öte Yer novels are those in which the most elements of folk culture were utilized. The detected elements are Shamanism among belief systems, the belief in the existance of elves among folk beliefs and memorates among the genres of folk narrative. Sadık Yemni, who is originally from İzmir, attended and was influenced by the environments of oral culture in his childhood and he transfered his cultural heritage acquired from those environments to his novels. As a consequence of our study it has been observed that the writer was influenced by his own cultural origin, the environments of oral culture in which he was brought up as a child, the people whom he listened in these environments and that several elements of folk culture shaped his fantastic novels in terms of both content and style.
