Mehmed Fevzi Effendi was a scholar who lived in the 19th century. He was a prolific author having left several religious, academic and literary works behind. He was active in educational activities wherever he was. He had translated and expounded some of the Arabic works used in language education in the madrasas. One of them is Miftâhu’l-Marâm fî Ahvâli’l-Kelimeti va’l-Kalâm which was a commentary of İzhâru’l-Esrâr by İmam Birgivî (d. 981/1573).
