In the Arab world, the countries in which literary activities in the modern sense began, are the countries of Umman and the Gulf. There are many reasons behind the late start of modern literary activities in these countries. The emergence of modern history in the Gulf countries is usually after the discovery of oil. The economic relief that comes with the oil assessment has also brought changes in many areas. The rapid changes in the field of education and culture have provided positive developments in society and this situation has prepared the ground for the formation of the literary environment. Abstract: In Arabic World, Omman and Gulf countries are among the pioneer countries whose literary activities began most recently. There are alot of reason why the literary activities began lately in Gulf countries. Birth of modern narrative in Gulf countries is usually after the discovery of oil. Economic boon ensues after assessing the oil and this provides new changes in some areas. Some of rapid changes in educational and cultural areas ensured positive development in the society and this situation formed a basis for the occurrence of literary atmosphere.
