Özet:

One of the most prominent representatives of Islamic thought, Ghazali is a thinker who lived in the eleventh century beyond his age. He had such an impact on Islamic world that what he said was regarded as the words in almost all of the controversial issues. As for İbrahim Hakkı, he was a Turkish and Islamic thinker living in Anatolia about six centuries after Ghazali. Even though he did not have so wide impact as Ghazali, he managed to have a good fame among Turks in Anatolia. With the reality that both thinkers lived in different centuries and in different communities, they intercepted each other in some issues from time to time. It is likely to say that the reason for this interception was the likelihood of İbrahim Hakkı to be affected by Ghazali. Both of the thinkers evaluated the basic issues of Islam from their own perspectives and tried hard to make the people informed. It is likely to say that the factor comprising the main axis of this perspective was philosophy of Sufism. They examined the issues from Sufism point of view and in a way that the community could understand. Since their main aims was to inform people, their often dealt with the rules of Islam with regard to İslamic social life. One of the basic institutions of social life is marriage and family together. Both thinkers made various statements over marriage and family and also over the subtitles. An issue concerning family is sexual life. It is a hard to talk topic both the philosophy of Islam and Muslim communities. In this study, the good manners of sexual relation as the subtitle of family, the views of the two thinkers with regard to the issues of sexual behaviors were studied within the context of their works critically.
