Abstract:

ABSTRACT The first Trade Union Law in Turkey was issued in 1947. By law, trade unions have begun to feel their assets in business life. The first organized trade union was established after this law.In 1963, collective bargaining rights were introduced. Laws 2821 and 2822 issued after 1980 separately evaluated the provisions of trade unions and collective bargaining agreements. The amendments carried out in the last decade and the arrangements made between the social partners the resultant laws no. 2821 and 2822 have been rearranged under a single framework of law.Social dialogue mechanisms have been implemented when changes in these laws and drafting of new legislation have been carried out. The main aim of this study is to identify the unionized policies in Turkey and the effectiveness and role of unions in the preparation and implementation of legal regulations.
