Education systems which is the most indispensable elements of all communities in the world are the most efficient systems making possible of observing society's change and development. Today educational scientists draw attention to the importance of examining and comparing different cultures' educational systems. These studies are named as comparative education and their historical development date back to the 17th century. The development of these studies in History of Turkish Education is right in the beginning of the 20th century. In this study comparative educational articles, published between 1918 – 1938 and published in were examined in educational journals were examined. Survey method was used as research method. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative data analysis program in accordance with document analysis method stages. As a result of analysis conducted in 37 educational journals published in between the years 1918-1938, a total of 124 articles at 11 journals were determined. Research results revealed the first studies in the History of Turkish Education in comparative education.
