The number of people who are engaged in outdoor recreation recently called as recreational tourism has been increasing tremendously There has been too much increase in travel to the areas of natural resources Recreation is any particular activity for what people do in their spare time for amusement and enjoyment Forms of recreation include sport games gardening playing the musical instrument and etc As such the purpose of this paper is to reveal what the potential customers’ need and expect Data was collected in Adana which is a city in the southern part of Turkey and both personal interview and survey methods were used in collecting data Based on the results of the study we conclude that there seems to be need for recreational facilities to spend in the spare time of the people studied and expectation for higher quality of service and lower distance to the nature Key Words: Recreation recreational tourism market potential
